Meet Grayson, our 2010 Co-Ambassador2019 UPDATE:
"Grayson was born a micro preemie weighing 1 lbs 4 oz. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and a development delay at birth. He came to Easter Seals to participate in the toddler class at the Ottawa center. Grayson enjoyed his time at Easter Seals, participating in Young Athletes, Telethon and being the Ambassador for 2010. Today Grayson is in 6th grade at Central. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, farming with his dad, playing his I-Pad, playing with our black lab and riding his four-wheeler. Since his time at Easter Seals Grayson has learned to walk with the help of orthopedics and many hours of physical therapy. Through school Grayson receives occupations, speech, and vision therapy. He is an old soul who enjoys relaxing weekends, peace and quiet and sleeping in. This spring he will participate in Special Olympics and is a cast member in our local Penguin Project's Aladdin Jr." |
