The Big Bird classroom is designed for your 3-year-old up until they turn 4! The teachers in this classroom emphasize learning through repetition and themed activities, which fosters language, motor skills, and social development. The curriculum will include daily circle time, creative projects, and group play tailored to the current needs of the children in the classroom that emphasizes literacy, science, math, music, and creative expression. Hands-on, individualized activities give the teacher time to work with your child on specific skills they need developed. The teachers will work with you on potty training goals by continuing the home routine in the classroom. The program includes nutritious meals, outdoor play, rest time, and family events. Parent-teacher conferences are held couple times in the year to discuss progress.

Miss Katrina

Ms. Kaitlyn is coming to us with 6 years of experience in childcare, a gateways ECE level 5 credential, Infant/Toddler level 4 credential, and a school age credential. Her favorite things to do outside of work are spending time with her fiancé and children, going shopping, and going to country concerts.

Miss Katrina has been with SRRC for about 2 years. She has skills in many different areas of the center.
