Who We AreAt Starved Rock Regional Center we are a premier provider of Early Intervention evaluations, along with developmental and speech therapy services for children. We will be with your family from evaluation, through diagnosis and therapy and beyond.
We also provide our area with a quality childcare center and pre-school for children of varying abilities from the 6 weeks of age until kindergarten. We are a non-profit organization that prides ourselves in the love and dedication we will make for your family, and we strive to help all children live, learn and play to their maximum ability |
HistoryStarved Rock Regional Center for Therapy and Child Development (SRRC) has been providing services in the area since 1947 when local Streator business leader, Henry M. Light began “LaSalle County Chapter for Crippled Children.” The agency eventually collaborated with Easter Seals and changed its name to Easter Seals of LaSalle & Bureau Counties. In 2015 we decided to branch out on our own to allow us to keep more of the funds raised local and servicing our families. We then changed out name to Starved Rock Regional Center for Therapy and Child Development.
To this day we continue to provide quality services to LaSalle and Bureau counties. |
MissionStarved Rock Regional Center provides quality services to children with, and without, special needs and their families so that they have equal opportunity to live, learn, and play in their community.
